- The Mags is a road & gravel saddle that will reduce the weight of your bike while seriously increasing comfort.Named for Magnolia Road in Boulder which has it all: Crazy steep switchbacks, rolling dirt at 8,000ft elevation, and topped with mountain bike trails. Mags is a do-it-all saddle made for both road and gravel riding. It’s light, great for getting forward in a gravel race or a steep mountain pitch, and keeps your thighs from rubbing.Mags Value: Compared to lighter wheels, our Mags saddle is 6x less expensive per gram shed.DetailsDimensions: 24cm long, with a nose width of 30.5mm and rear width of 146mmRails: Extra long 7x9mm carbon fiber rails provide plenty of fore/aft adjustmentNo Rubbing: Reduces the chance of thigh rubbing and soft tissue pressure in general, especially when in an aggressive aero position on the frontWeight: Proprietary carbon fiber shell and rail construction that allows us to achieve a weight below 125g while greatly surpassing ISO standardsStrong: Carbon shell is made of forged carbon, with unidirectional fibers for the rails for the best strength to weight ratioWhat Makes the Mags SpecialFor more than 20 years we have tried to find a saddle great for sitting up, all-day comfort, for soloing off the front on the rivet, and for dropping behind when the sketch factor goes up. We wanted zero soft tissue pressure, no chamois-bunching in a cut out, and zero thigh rubbing. So, we prototyped over dozens of saddles. And, we put in the miles, and then more miles. We used our carbon experience to create a sub-125g saddle with 7x9mm unidirectional carbon rails. The foam padding is not too soft or too hard: our foam forms to your body and then provides great support, and our durable cover material is ultra thin, allowing the foam to work. Last, we’ve honed the grip/smoothness of the cover material to allow for riders to adjust their position while still providing just the right amount of grip and security.
